The Department of Transfusion Medicine at the Post Graduate Institute of Child Health is a state-of-the-art blood centre providing 24x7 blood component and apheresis requirements for children admitted at the institute.

- To conduct basic and clinical research in transfusion medicine and cell therapy, focusing on neonatal and pediatric transfusions.
